We are excited to announce a brand-new     social meetup group dedicated to deaf children aged 0-12, their siblings, and parents/carers.

The BFG Captioned Performance

Thursday 2nd April (Easter Holidays) 7pm showing (arrive at 6.30)

Recommended age 8+ Although children 6+ are welcome at parents discretion. Some scary scenes.

Running time 1 hour and 50 minutes including an interval

Places for d/Deaf children and siblings will be funded by Deaf Kids Connect

This will be a captioned performance.

Events are paid for in advance by Deaf Kids Connect. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, we kindly ask that you let us know as early as possible so funds can be used wisely and other families can benefit.

We are opening this event to our friends, families and members of the community. Come and spread festive cheer with our signing Santa, raffle and refreshments. £1 entry per person, free activities once inside. Please bring change for raffle, refreshments and donations! Thank you

Welcome to Deaf Kids Connect!

Our mission is to create a supportive and vibrant community where everyone can connect, share experiences, and have fun!

 What We Offer: 

- Fun Activities: Engaging games, crafts, and sports tailored for children of all ages. Strategies, resources, and support networks. Activities to foster understanding and friendship. 

- Social Connections: Build lasting friendships with other families in the community. 

When & Where: 

When: Saturday 20th September 2025 

Time: 2PM - 4PM 

Location: West Tarring Young People’s Hub, 9B High Street, Tarring, Worthing, BN14 7NN. 

Parking can be tricky, we suggest not parking down the High Street but nearby and walking the short distance. 

Who Can Join? 

- d/Deaf children aged 0-12 (This includes hard of hearing, hearing loss of any levels, glue ear, temporary or permanent, tinnitus, limited access to sound, hearing aid users, BAHA users, cochlear implant users, all technology or no technology!) 

- Their siblings 

- Parents and carers

Please bring along your change to purchase refreshments, all money goes back into the group.
